It’s Time for Some Grilling

We talked about cleaning your grill in preparation for summer.  Now we want to share with you some grilling recipes. These are some of our favorite recipes to use with your grill and to share with your loved ones.

We think of burgers right away when getting our grill all ready for summer.  Here is a great new recipe from Clean Cuisine that we cannot wait to try.

Greek Burgers

Use the following ingredients.  We would make a Greek salad of tomatoes, cucumbers, feta and oregano as a side for this burger.

Ground chicken, juice of 1/2 lemon, 1 minced clove of garlic, 1/2 tsp of basil, 1/2 tsp of oregano, 1/4 c feta and salt and pepper to taste. served slider style on mini whole wheat pitas with tzatziki sauce.

How about some skewers right off the grill with these

Rosemary Pork Kabobs

If you have rosemary in your yard, clip a few stems and use it to thread the pork.   Serving with these grilled vegetables and maybe a little light and fluffy couscous could make a healthy and tasty meal.

For the seafood lovers out there, this is a great and tasty recipe if your like things a little spice.  Adding a Mexican inspired salad can help complete your meal or turn these shrimp into tacos with some toppings.  Or try using these grilled shrimp as an appetizer and serve them with some tropical margaritas.

Grilling vegetables is so easy.  You can use brussel sprouts on skewers, or potatoes in tin foil, or corn in its husks.  There are so many ways to grill vegetables, but this is a great recipe that brings a unique way to serve a salad.

We are open to new techniques and ideas, so we found this fresh dessert recipe that looks fun to try.  Even adding a little lemon ice, vanilla ice cream or a tiny bit of cream sauce can bring the favors out even more.
