The National Association of Realtors conducted a survey to learn what important home features were valuable to new home buyers. Not surprisingly, they found that three to four bedrooms were a high priority. Especially with children, these rooms are important. They looked at homes that were around 1800 square feet in size to meet a minimum space requirement. Additionally, amenities like central air and walk in closets were important home features to new home buyers. A must for any home, a master bath is important. New appliances were a plus, as was a tech ready home. These specific features were important when making a home purchase.
